Eyelash Extensions

I finally got on the band wagon and got my first application of lash extensions by Valarie at CaMar Med Spa. Valarie and I went to their "Spa Treatment Room" where we did a quick consultation to decide what lashes were best for me.

Valarie explained the process to me in detail. She made me feel extremely comfortable as she explained exactly what she was doing, from applying the cooling collagen pads under my eyes prior to the application to the removal of the tape at the end.

I expressed to her that my biggest concern was being able to wash my face. She kindly explained that I should not wet my lashes for 24 hours to allow the adhesive to bond to my natural lashes, and when I do wash my face, avoid using anything oil-based because it will break down the adhesive. She told me to schedule my follow up 3 weeks out.

I can’t believe I waited so long to give eyelash extensions a chance.
